PokerStars

Day 1B plays out at the EPT Kyev and PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri was sent to the rail, he was holding around 50 thousand chips and was running well but he made a risky move.

There are three PokerStars Pros in the remaining 139 player field, the tournament is currently on level five and the chip leader is Alexander Grischuk.

Alexander Grischuk is a professional Chess player from Russia. In 2000 he made it to the semi finals in the FIDE World Chess Championship, while in 2004 he made it to the quarter finals in the same tournament. Alexander Grischuk is not only a top level Chess player; he is also one of the best Blitz Chess players in the world. He is the 2006 World Blitz Champion and this year he won the Championship of Linares.

Alexander’s closest contender for the chip lead is Francesco Cirianni. Francesco finished in 5th place in the EPT Prague in December 2008 and took home $212,946. That was his biggest win so far, but he is playing good poker at the EPT Kyiv and will give all players at the tournament a good run for the chips.
