The European Poker Tour Warsaw did not have as many players as expected, but there were still plenty of experienced players and pros among the field.

PokerStars pro Dario Minieri did not have one of his best performances but he entered the High Roller event and managed to win it.  After that he decided to hit the rail and give his friend Alfio Battisti some support at the main event final table.

PokerStars player Shaun Deeb had a remarkable performance during the first 21 levels of play but unfortunately for him his tournament run ended and he finished in twenty second place.

Luca Pagano managed to make it to the final table, increasing his EPT cash record to 12.  He has participated in five final tables, where his best finish was a third place.  In this particular tournament he finished in 4th position and the player that busted him out of the tournament was the chip leader Christophe Benzimra.

The last three players remaining in the tournament where chip leader Christophe Benzimra, Italian Alfio Battisti and Ukranian Oleksandr Vaserfirer.  Benzimra had been a bully at the final table and he managed to outplay all of his opponents, but he got involved in a big pot against Vaserfirer and was left with only 600K chips. But Benzirma battled back and took Vaserfirer out a few hands later.

The heads-up battle lasted less than two hours and at the end the Frenchman Chistophe Benzimra outplayed his opponent to take down the $533K prize.
