One of the biggest live tournaments in the world will take place in eighteen days from now and it will be held at the beautiful Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. A total of fifty events are scheduled and millions of dollars will be at stake. Poker players from all parts of the world will be enjoying the tournament-vacation in the Caribbean.
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure provides a unique opportunity for all players to rub shoulders with some of the best poker pros in the world. Poker legend Daniel Negreanu is looking forward to the 8-game championship since he is an overall skilled player and would be a favorite to win the championship. Two other pros who will also be entering the tournament are Luca Pagano and Greg Raymer.
Another PokerStars Pro, William Thorson, will be entering all Omaha tournaments since that is the variation he enjoys the most. Meanwhile, Hevad Khan will try to repeat last years win at the $2K NLHE tourney.
Another unique tournament that will be available this upcoming year for the first time is the Tag Team event, the ’09 WSOP main event champion Joe Cada will be teaming-up with his friend Tony Gargano to take a shot at the tourney. Another PokerStars pro Jason Mercier and his fellow poker player Christian “charder” Harder will also be entering the tournament.
A very popular tournament will be the heads-up event where names like Vanessa Rousso, Johnny Lodden, Dario Minieri, and Vicky Coren will battle it out for the top prizes.
