PokerStars

The World Championship of Online Poker events started on September the 3rd and seventeen out of the total forty five events have been played. The outstanding part is the fact that only four out of the seventeen events have not exceed the guaranteed prize pool, with the other thirteen events easily reaching the guarantee, and in some cases even tripling the purse.

Overall the performance of PokerStars Pros in the WCOOP has been sporadic to say the least; none of the sponsored pros have made it to a final table. In event seventeen which took place yesterday, Victor Ramdin was eliminated in 12th, just two positions away from making the final table.

There are two events scheduled for Thursday September 10th. The first one is event #19 which is a $300 + $20 Pot Limit Ohama 6-max with one rebuy and one add-on. The event will start at 2:30 pm ET and $400K is guaranteed. There will be a $116 turbo satellite running at 1:15pm ET that guarantees 80 seats to the event.

The second WCOOP event scheduled is a $320 Fixed Limit Triple Draw 2-7 that will start at 4:30 pm ET. The guaranteed prize pool is $100K. PokerStars is offering a variety of satellite events that start as low as $8.80.
