PokerStars Qualifier Ends Day 1A in the Chip Lead at the EPT Warsaw

The EPT Barcelona that ended almost two months ago had tons of excitement for all the spectators. It also brought a PokerStars qualifier name into the spot light as Carter Phillips dominated the massive player field and managed to win the event.

Something that no player has been able to do is win two European Poker Tour events, and yet day 1A was dominated by US player Carter Phillips who crushed his opponents and seemed relentless at the tables. His chips stack for day two will have over one hundred and ninety four thousand chips.

Clayton Mozdzen, who has ninety one thousand chips less than Carter, has the second biggest stack.  PokerStars pro Luca Pagano ended the day with 101K chips and sits in third place in the chip leaderboard.  Other PokerStars pros that are still in contention in the tournament but are sitting in the middle of the chip leaderboard are: Peter Eastgate, Arnaud Mattern, Marcin Horecki and Alex Kravchenko.

PokerStars pros Angel Guillen and JC Alvarado will not be seen action on the second day of the tournament as they have both been eliminated and will be returning to Mexico without cashing at the EPT Warsaw.
