PokerStars has managed to be the biggest poker room in the world and they strive to keep growing and keep their status by being always on the spot light. This time around they got a sponsorship deal with ESPN for a new show that will be broadcast today for the second time. It seems like Tuesdays will be considered from now on The Poker Day of the week, which should make millions of poker players around the world very happy.
The show will feature interviews from the top players in the poker scene, as well as all the latest news from the live and online poker world.
The first guest on the show is considered by many as one of the main reactants that caused the poker boom: the 2003 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Chris Moneymaker.
Today Tuesday August 11th, 2009 the show will feature Dennis Phillips as a guest; Phillips was the chip leader when the 2008 WSOP final table started to play out. He started with more than $26 million in chips and he finished in 3rd place. His earnings were $4,517,773 for his 3rd place finish.
