Playing at the biggest online poker room in the world has its benefits, especially if most of the world champions are sponsored by that poker room. Beginning today, players will see the following more often on Tuesdays as part of PokerStars‘ “Outlast the Pro” promotion: Joe Cada, Chris Moneymaker, Peter Eastgate, Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier and many others will play in various tournaments on Team Pro Tuesdays. All players who remain in a tournament after the last pro has busted out will get to split the prize pool with his or her fellow poker players.
PokerStars is also getting ready to host their biggest live tournament – the PCA – in the Bahamas. The event will start on January 4th and extend through January 14th. There will be a total of fifty events played in several poker variations. Players should take advantage of the many opportunities that PokerStars has made available for them to earn a package. There are daily freerolls in which players can qualify for tournaments that awards several direct packages to the PCA. The winner of last year’s main event was Canadian Poorya Nazari, who took home a check for $3 million.
