PokerStars is constantly improving their promotions and they have recently decided to beef up their monthly Turbo Takedown tournament. The prize pool is still $1 million but they’ve now added additional prizes. The top finisher will take home an Audi TT on top of the big money prize that will be deposited into his or her online poker account. Some other prizes have also been added which include cash bonuses and pro player bounties.
The Turbo Takedown is hosted on the last Sunday of every month at 3:30 pm. The total buy-in to the event is 3,000 frequent player points but there are plenty of satellite events that will award seats for a fraction of the cost.
For those players that cash in consecutive times at the Turbo Takedown, PokerStars will award them a fast clearing bonus that has a 5X clearing rate, which will be determined by how many times the player finished in the money. Those players who cash twice in a row in the tournament will receive a $100 bonus.
An additional feature added to the Turbo Takedown and that will give PokerStars pros a headache is the newly introduced bounties, a $100 prize tag for each pro.
Two important things that have to be mentioned are the fact that there’s a cap on the field size set at 25K players, and that the first place winner will get to choose between the Audi TT or the cash equivalent.
