It took less than five hours to reduce the field and reach the money positions. It took a few hours to reach the heads-up action, which then lasted only one hand. Newhizzle was able to come out on top after his pocket jacks held against the Ac-Ts that his opponent rockyone123 was holding. Newhizzle saw his account balance increase in $245K which is well worth his effort at the tournament.
Prior to the Sunday Million, the Sunday Warm-up started with 4,526 players and a $905K prize pool. It took eight and a half hours to reduce the field down to the final nine players, where cotrim333 outlasted everyone and took home the $142K first prize.
