The World Series of Poker kicked-off last Friday, but there’s still a month before the Main Event begins, which means there’s plenty of time for online players to win their seat on PokerStars. The world’s largest online poker site remains the best place to qualify for the prestigious tournament, with winners receiving packages that include tournament buy-in, accommodation, travel and spending money, and two tickets to the legendary PokerStars Party on July 11.
Later this month, PokerStars is replacing their flagship tournament, the Sunday Million, with a World Series Mega Satellite that will guarantee a staggering 200 packages. On Sunday, June 20th at 4:30pm EST, PokerStars players can win their way to a summer in Las Vegas for $370. Users can log-on now to register, or qualify through numerous super-satellites, which can be found under Events/WSOP/All on the PokerStars lobby.
In other PokerStars news, online satellite tournaments to the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) are now available, with seats to the Bahamas up for grabs. PokerStars is expecting a field of more than 2,000 players to head to Paradise Island for the main event and now they can get there for as little as 20 Frequent Player Points (FPPs) thanks to the Mega-Path Qualifiers, a nine-step program that could lead to PCA fame and fortune. PCA package winners receive nine nights accommodation at the Atlantis Resort, US$1,000 for expenses, and their seat for a total value of $15,750. The 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure will run from January 7-16, with the $10,000+300 Main Event scheduled for January 8-14.
