Full Tilt Poker has one of the biggest teams of professional online poker players, and with names like Phil Ivey, Erik Seidel, Allen Cunningham, Patrik Antonius, and Gus Hansen, they have no shortage of star power on their roster.
Many of the Red Pros are high stakes players who can be found at Full Tilt Poker’s tables throughout the day. This past month held a surprise for the high stakes community as a new face appeared to challenge the Red Pros. After having an initial run of success, the player known only as “martonas” has come back down to earth in recent days, losing a sum of about $700K.
But martonas is not the only player who had a rough August, as Patrik Antonius was down $576K for the month.
A member of the November Nine 2009 and also one of the best poker players in the world, Phil Ivey struggled in August as well, losing a whopping $1.8 million dollars. The pro who fared that worst, however, was Gus Hansen, whose account balance took a massive $3 million hit.
One of the most popular players at the high stakes tables at Full Tilt, Tom “durrrr” Dwan also had a losing month, dumping about $400K.
