After seven days at the tables outplaying seven hundred and thirty eight players, the final table is set and will be played out in several hours from now. The players that made it to the final table are the chip leader Sorel Mizzi, Stephen Shelley, Annette Obrestad, Tyron Krost, Frederik Jensen, Kosta Varoxis, Peter Jetten and Steven Friedlander.
Day four had a total of eighteen players still in contention for the title but ten of them had the misfortune of hitting the rail. Among the field on day four was Dan Shak, who won the $100K challenge at the Aussie Millions to take down a $1.2 million cash prize. He had a great run at the main event as well but he did not make it to the final table and he busted out in 12th place for $100K.
One of the Party Poker qualifiers that is still in contention for the first place prize is Tyron Krost, he has been playing poker for a few years and he has been able to cash in two WSOP events, first in ’08 on event forty nine he placed in 193rd for a little over $3K and in ’09 he cashed on event fifty four after finishing on position 249th for $35K. He is definitely not new to playing poker in live events and is on his way to recording the biggest live tournament win for his career so far.
The second Party Poker qualifier at the Aussie Millions final table is Frederik Jensen, he also has cashed twice at the WSOP events just like the other Party Poker qualifier but his cashes were accomplished in 2009 on events fifty four and thirty nine for a total of $14,257. He has demonstrated to have the skill to take on some of the best poker players in the world and he certainly has the skill to finish in the top positions at the Aussie Millions.
