On Saturday afternoon, GOOD2FU made waves by taking down a $109 No Limit Hold’em with Rebuys event held as part of the ongoing UB.com Online Championship, or UBOC. He banked a healthy $26,000 for the win and bested a strong field of 289 players. Today, the UBOC Championship Event will play out.

The $100,000 guaranteed tournament on Saturday featured an overlay and the top 27 players finished in the money. In the final hand of the event, GOOD2FU shoved all-in on a flop of A-K-J with two clubs and eventual runner-up RALNKHAN called for his tournament life. When the cards were revealed, RALNKHAN held K-3 for middle pair, but GOOD2FU had him trumped with A-J for aces-up. GOOD2FU turned a full house and that was all she wrote for RALNKHAN, who received a $15,000 consolation prize.

If GOOD2FU’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he final tabled UBOC 6 Event #3, a $320 No Limit Hold’em tournament, for $8,600. The Italian captured a Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) jersey last November along with $76,000 in cash. On December 19th, GOOD2FU final tabled the Full Tilt $1 Million Guaranteed for $29,000 and, on the same day, took third in the site’s $150 Rebuy for $35,000.

Third place and an $11,000 cash infusion went to J.D. “JDPC27” Wheeler. Online, Wheeler has been phenomenal. Last August, he took down an FTOPS event for $85,000 and, three months later, final tabled the challenging PokerStars Sunday 500 for $51,000. He sits at #56 worldwide in the PocketFives.com Online Poker Rankings and owns over $1 million in cashes tracked by the popular poker forum.

Live, Wheeler has also excelled. In 2009, he played second fiddle to Tony Veckey in a $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event during the annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) for $418,000. He’s also cashed in tournaments around the globe, including the United States, the Bahamas, Austria, and England.

Sixteenth place went to UB.com pro and two-time WSOP bracelet winner Brandon Cantu, who final tabled UBOC 6 Event #16 ($215 No Limit Hold’em Cubed) for $12,000. This time around, Cantu earned $850 after being one of the chip leaders as play ground towards the money bubble. However, he could not hold on and ultimately bowed out before the nine-handed final table was determined.

Here were the last nine standing in UBOC 6 Event #27, a $109 No Limit Hold’em with Rebuys tournament:

1. GOOD2FU – $26,000
2. RALNKHAN – $15,500
