Ultimate Bet has announced a unique tournament that will be played during the final table broadcast of the WSOP main on ESPN. There will be $50K up for grabs, as well as $2,000 per day spread between the top three of the Points Race and the SNG Tournament leaderboards. First place will be awarded $500, second place $300, and third place $200, and players will only have to play poker in different tournaments to get STATUS points and increase their rankings on the different leader boards.
There are a total of nine seats available but only eight will be given away since one seat is reserved for the 11-time WSOP champion and Ultimate Bet Poker Pro Phil Hellmuth. The remaining seats will be awarded as follows: one seat will be awarded to the winner of the October’s Multi-Table Tournament leader board. The second seat will be given away in a tournament that will have all new real money players in October that achieved the Ultimate Player Status in the Rai$e program. The third and fourth seats will be awarded the same way as the second, except that only players who have achieved the Ultimate Contender Status for the 3rd seat and for the 4th seat can participate.
Seats five and six will be played out in a tournament between all the players that reached 1st place at the daily Ring Game Status Points Race. The same format will also apply to seats seven and eight, except only players who reach the 1st place on the daily SNG Tournament leader board will be battling for the two seats.
