Having won eleven WSOP bracelets puts Phil Hellmuth in an elite group of players who have had a nearly unmatched success at the poker tables for many years. Other players who make up that group of past WSOP champions include: Johnny Chan with ten bracelets, Doyle Brunson with ten bracelets, Johnny Moss with nine bracelets and Erik Seidel with eight bracelets.

Ultimate Bet Pro Phil Hellmuth has a reputation for being a rude, tilty player; he has said hurtful things to other players during tournament play at some of the biggest live tournament events. All of his rude actions earned him the nickname “Poker Brat”.

But not everything is negative when it comes to Phil Hellmuth. Putting aside his awkward entrances to some of the major live tournaments and forgetting some of his rude comments at the poker tables, there is a caring poker player who likes to take time to host a Charity event like the Hold’em for Heroes.

The Hold’em for Heroes event benefits the TASER Foundation for Fallen Officers. They provide financial support to the families of local, state, provincial and federal law enforcement officers in United States and Canada who have lost loved ones in the line of duty.

The charity event will extend for three days starting on November 19th at the Fort McDowell Casino in Arizona. In 2008, the event raised more than half a million dollars and some celebrities and poker pros took part of this wonderful event.
