Annie Duke is well known for having a great poker skill set and a warm heart, and she is involved in several charity organizations. On the other hand, Phil Hellmuth is known for being bitter, grotesque and basically a poker brat, but he also helps to raise money for charity foundations.
This time around both Ultimate Bet pros Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth will be participating in the charity event called Starlight Poker Challenge that will be hosted at the Gare Windsor in Montreal. The event will be televised and will run from November 14th-18th. The tournament will go down in history as the biggest prize pool awarded to date in Canadian territory. The first place prize will take $100K.
All players who wish to participate in the event will have to pay a buy-in of $500, which give them a starting chip stack of ten thousand chips. There will also be a second option, a $750 buy-in fee will give them a VIP entry that includes a twenty thousand starting chip stack plus exclusive access to the training boot camp that Hellmuth and Duke will be hosting on November 14th.
The final table will be played out in Sin City.
