In an announcement last week, Entraction Holding AB revealed that it had finalized a deal that would bring Victor Chandler Poker to the Entraction Network.

The deal had been referenced in Entraction’s third quarter financial reports earlier this year, but at the time, the company that was joining the Entraction Network was not named. It wasn’t until last week that the details for the multi-year partnership were completed. Victor Chandler Poker will be completely merged into the Entraction Network over the next month.

“Entraction’s commitment to development of the poker product together with their plans for a revolutionary loyalty program and player protection methods have given us great hope for both the future of Victor Chandler Poker and the future of online poker in general,” Andy Horne, Head of Poker Operations at Victor Chandler International, stated during the announcement. “We are confident that the move to Entraction will prove to be a positive experience for both Victor Chandler Poker and our players alike.”

“We are very excited that Victor Chandler has signed an exclusive agreement with Entraction,” Peter Åström, the Chief Executive Officer of Entraction, added. “This shows the strength in our strategy to remain a standalone poker network, which allows us to always put our partners first. They know our poker product and our team well and we are very much looking forward to continuing to provide them with the best product and the best service.”

Victor Chandler has been part of the online poker industry for the last eight years. Its poker product was offered alongside other gaming operations, which include sports betting, financial futures, and an online casino. The two companies had a previous agreement whereby Entraction provided Victor Chandler with software for its poker operations, but the two entities had remained separate prior to the agreement.

On the surface, the move by Victor Chandler to the Entraction Network from its previous home on the iPoker Network might seem odd. When associated with the iPoker Network, Victor Chandler was part of the third largest network in the industry according to PokerScout.com. Victor Chandler was a cornerstone of the iPoker Network along with rooms like Titan Poker, Chili Poker, and Expekt. Ranking behind only PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, the iPoker Network battles PartyPoker for the distinction of being the largest poker operation that doesn’t accept USA players.

The Entraction Network, on the other hand, has fallen out of the top ten in traffic due to the influx of dedicated Italian and French poker rooms. The Entraction Network, according to PokerScout.com, peaks at approximately 2,600 cash game players over a 24-hour period and averages approximately 1,500.

Rooms that are part of the Entraction Network include 24hPoker and Dave Ulliott’s Devilfish Poker. Stay tuned to Poker News Daily for more online poker headlines.
